Bill Blass x Classix

This garment combines two found tuxedo shirts. I considered the intentions of the original garments: with their defined, structural menswear qualities, they were formal and linear. By altering the orientation and directional flow of the original garments, they become more sculptural. It was refreshing to see that my expectations of the shirt surpassed their known objectives. In addition, the wearer can assume different identities through the various configurations of the garment. These multiple functions are antithetical to the world of fast-fashion.
